Thoughts from Thursday 01/26/17

With less than a week in the record books for the new President of the United States in the record books it might be a good time for me to jump back into politics. Since the election, the major population centers of the nation have gone completely loopy. The Progressive Socialist could smell victory. With the passing of the 100 year goal of transferring control of the medical industry into government control it was just a matter of time that they could take total control of the US population. Their control of all the major “news” outlets has been such a huge benefit that how could they lose? So what else for them to do but march, loot, riot, cry, and demand an end to the US electoral system as we know it, of course.

Million Whiner’s March

I was about to name this segment “Whine Lady Whine” however I really didn’t see many “ladies” at the Million Women’s March. Nevertheless, listening to some of the spoiled brat participates; it only demonstrated that they have not lost their ability to whine over not getting what they wanted. From the demonstrations, it appears to me that most of these women have some major daddy issues. Apparently their fathers gave them everything that they wanted and they expect the “big daddy” in Washington to do the same. Of course, what they want to for Hillary Clinton appointed president. Never mind the law or the Constitution.

You still have to admit that many of these poor deluded people really think that they were within the creation of paradise on Earth. You know, just like the Socialist paradise in Cuba or Venezuela. After all President Obama, the news media, and Hollywood have been telling us that we should be aspiring to be more like these nations in the future. Forgetting the fact that such demonstration are forbidden in by dictatorial governments across the world. They think that the freedoms guaranteed by the US Constitution are universal.

Oh let us not forget about the featured speakers paraded before the nation. While Michael Moore, Madonna and Ashley Judd hate filled speeches garnered much of the attention, some of the other speakers need more attention. As reported by allenwest.com, the pro-Sharia law activist Linda Sarsour and Donna Hylton involvement raises some serious question about the true goals of the march. Beyond the fact that a major sponsor was Planned Parenthood and their pro-abortion agenda, the mixed message of equal rights just seems disingenuous. What about the rights of the unborn girls, considered an inconvenience or just a choice to be disposed of like so much garbage.

The inclusion of the felon, Donna Hylton should be so much more than troubling to most Americans. However, someone within the group who organized this event has displayed their willingness to support a person who kidnapped, torched, and killed a gay man. These are the people who continually call anyone that oppose their agenda as homophobic, racist, and haters. So the Million Women’s march was nothing more than a day long of rude, crude, and angry women giving the nation a demonstration of how much they hate anyone that disagrees with their desires.

Draining the Swamp

Well it looks as if we now have an administration that is willing to eliminate government waste and bloat. Considering how Washington has become more and more isolated from the reality of the nation governed. It is good to see that it may finally be what many in the Tea Party were demanding since 2008. That finally there may not only be an actual desire, to not only rein in the growth of the Federal Government but to shrink its size. However, we must continue to push for a balanced budget amendment and a plan to pay off the soaring $20 trillion debt. There are those who say that the debt isn’t a problem or that it can never be paid off. Nevertheless, we never know until we try. The policy makers in the past have been wrong too many times and proven to be untrustworthy. It is time for new ideas from outside the government who has repeatedly ignored its Constitutional bounds.

The Media is Dead, Long Live the Media

It is said that in the days of old when a king passed away the people would say; The king is dead! Long live the king! It was a sign of respect for the old king and a way to pledge support for the new king. Since kings are determined by their linage the new king is based upon their right to inherit the kingdom. So that only due to their birthright they were destined to rule. The USA fought a war of revolution to free the nation of such notions. But over time this type of linage thinking has persisted as a matter of course. That is clearly seen in the way that the Left Stream Media seems to see that their organizations have a inherited right to rule through their control of the information presented to the nation. They see themselves as the king makers and destroyers.

The growth of new media has weakened the hold of the media's dominance the news cycle. During the conversion to the 24 news cycle the media has overplayed their hand. Thus shaking the public confidence. Then the emergence of the Internet presented new narratives which they once again overreacted which has further eroded away the trust that gave them so much power in the past. Without the trust of the nation those talking head are just that, talking heads. Very little power but some entertainment value.

After the defeat of the Clintons in November, it is clear that the Left Stream Media wounding is serious. They have been publicly shamed and humiliated. CNN has been a fake news network since almost their creation. It is good to see that not only has new media been proven to have more power than ever expected, it has given us a new channel to bypass the filter put in place by those who have controlled the public discourse for far too long. The so-called news media thinks that they have unlimited power. It is time to end the deceit and deception spread by a government created entertainment monopoly. The protections of free speech in the First Amendment of the Constitution are now perverted into a total control the narrative by a very few members of the Democrat Party. It is clear looking at those who provide the network news are controlled by people only interested in their own power.

Even though there are new means of spreading information, there are those who wish to destroy those means. Much of the fake news put out has come from sources are from agent provocateurs to sow distrust. The news media and the political parties see the threatened of losing their ability to control the narrative. If they are unable to manipulate the message, the people win more freedom. It is easier to control people’s thoughts and actions if they are uninformed, divided, and/or scared. The government-controlled media has had that power for too long. To see our freedoms return we must be able to maintain our ability to communicate without Progressive government or media interference and control. Although the old media is not truly dead it would appear that it is on life support, So I have to say;  Long live the new media!

A New Day in America

Beyond all else, I woke up in an America where a major part of our First Amendment right to free speech has been restored. Today, as proven by the demonstration in Washington on Saturday, Americans can once again disagree with the President of the United States without being called a racist. However, in a strange twist, it seems that if you do not disagree or criticize President Trump, then now you are a racist. It really makes me wonder who the real racist is in this argument. I think I know the answer.

According to those, who have controlled the narrative for far too many years, if you defend yourself, your beliefs, or have any American values you are an evil person. We are not evil people for defending ourselves. We are not evil people for defending our way of life. We are not evil people for loving life and wanting to improve that life. We are not evil for wanting our children and those who come after us to have the same and even more freedoms and, this is the most important part, the responsibilities of a free people.

We have an insurgency in the major population centers of this nation who no longer support the founding principles and traditions of our nation. They no longer care to work toward the common good of the nation as a whole. They want to get “their way.” They only want to impose their will upon the rest of the nation. They have lived under government control for most or all of their lives. They depend on government for so much in their lives; they have lost the basic meaning of what is freedom.

When you live in a cage, you become happy with your captivity. They demand more from government because they fear losing the safety of the cage. Too many trust a faceless, uncaring government bureaucracy more than they do the human beings around them. They have enslaved themselves to the ideas of that perfect socialist society, without understanding the full cost. They just need their streets cleaned and trash removed. What they eat and drink is ultimately determined completely out of their control. The local governments in most cities are determined to forbid their citizens from defending their lives or property. They have been told that guns are the problem not those how use the guns. Hollywood paints a picture of violence that reinforces the notion.

The majority in the urban areas believe that by their sheer numbers alone that they not only absolutely correct in their belief, that they can decide the fate and direction of the nation. That if you live in a rural area, you do not count. A majority of the states not a majority of the population determined the last election. That is the way the founders designed it and I fully support it, since that was the idea behind a republic. The majority that lost are currently throwing something that can only be described as a “tantrum.” Along with this immature display, the anarchist and socialist can use this disorder to create even more disunity in the nation.

I do not know if President Trump can be trusted no more than anyone can fully trust anyone else in public life. I just feel better that maybe, just maybe there will be some real common sense brought back into the government. I can only hope that our government will begin to start protecting the citizens of this nation from enemies from without and within. I hope that we will discontinue the move to globalism, where the government set policies that send American jobs overseas.

For far too many years, governments raised corporate taxes and set overbearing regulations to the point where companies found it easier and more profitable outside of the country. When the Federal Government alone is taking 35% of a company’s profits and told that, they are not paying their “fair share” with no one defends them, why would they not want to leave for another more friendly nation? When they left, they took the jobs with them. The jobs that many Americans need to support their families. The only jobs left paid far less than the jobs that the governmental globalist policy ran away.

I also hope that our government can once again become a Constitutional Government. The 20th century saw the Federal Government overreach their constitutional limits. The growth of that government has caused it to become so removed from the people that I feel that they are no longer a representative government. Far too many of the agencies and government employees are not justified within the confines of our founding document. However, too many people really believe that those agencies are actually involved in what their name implies. Therefore, that makes it harder for a reformer to make the changes that must occur to reestablish our republic. In addition, the large number of government workers makes them a huge voice to push back against any reforms. Not to mention the unions that should have never been allowed to organize government workers.

I pray for our country. I pray for our President. I pray for those who do not agree with me. I pray that we can become that shining city on the hill that everyone want to emulate not invade. We must stop trying to impose “democracy” on the world and show them the way that they can build their own republic. By trying to impose ourselves on the world or trying to buy their friendship, we do nothing that moves the world to a place where humans can live in truly peaceful and prosperous would. However, the promise is there with new leadership in Washington to move us in a new direction.
