If You Like Your Nation…

Well we are now into 5 years of the fundamental transformation promised to you by President Obama. One of the first promises of the newly elected president was his promise to fundamentally transform the nation. This is unlike his other promises to the public don’t seem to be as much a priority in his mind. My overriding question at the moment would be: How’s that transformation going for you? As more and more Americans lose their preferred healthcare insurance and/or their doctors we’re seeing what that transformation will lead to in the future. The elites in Washington and the Progressive planners have shown that their vision of a country run for the elites and their cronies may not be the vision of many Americans. It is not what I was to believe was the American Dream. It is more of a nightmare than a dream.

For years the Federal Government has meddled in the healthcare systems of the states. It started with the imposition of Medicare and then Medicaid payments based upon government formulas, not the reality of delivering necessary lifesaving medical procedures. Through the growth of medical knowledge things that only a few years ago that were thought to be impossible are now relatively common. The idea that just because something can be done makes it something that the masses of people need forgets a major factor. Although medical procedures are possible, it requires highly talented and knowledgeable PEOPLE to do these things. If there is a shortage of these types of people you can not just go out and create them out of whole cloth. It requires more that training, it requires a high intelligence and skills not possessed by everyone.

But the government thinks that they can go into the market place and require certain things and that by fiat their orders will be carried out. It is easy when you are detached from reality to think that laws that are passed with little or no debate will actually change human behavior. It is easy to mandate change, but much harder to actually have mandates that are impractical or impossible to be implemented. It is easy to spend other people’s money or to tell other people how to live if you are not under the same constraints. Why else would Congress exempt themselves and their staff from the Affordable Care Act (ACA) or Obamacare? They are within the top wage earners in the nation, but they decided that they could not afford it. Sure they say that the poorest among us will get subsidies or will be put on Medicaid. The only problem with that plan is that they are still spending other people’s money with no thought as to how it will be paid for in the end.

It is very easy for a millionaire to sit in Washington and decide what you must, not can, afford for your healthcare premium. They have taken it upon themselves to determine you budget. They’ve decided what type of care or lack of care you deserve. They’ve ignored warnings about doctor shortages. They are willing to endanger the safety and wellbeing of the nation as a whole to push a 100 year old Progressive agenda. They have an agenda that says that they can build a perfect world by enslaving everyone to their demented ideas. They believe that although it may take time, that they can force everyone to comply and fall into step behind them and march into a bright future. This would be a grand idea to make a better world but in the past it has always ended it tragedy.

The forced sterilizations of the first half of the 20th century are now looked upon as a mistake, but have been replaced by other eugenic programs with similar goals. The mass abortion push that has occurred since the Roe v. Wade decision of the US Supreme Court has been sold throughout the nation as a woman’s right to choose. But it is still eugenics pushed by an organization known as Planned Parenthood and is a still, no matter how much it is denied, a major component of the misnamed Obamacare. The Progressives idea of building a perfect society can only be obtained through population control and genetics.

The so-called “war on women” used by the Democrats in 2012 was a war on our children. They have played upon the greed and envy of many Americans. Their overspending to buy votes through government programs and welfare are master strokes that play upon the selfishness of the average Democrat voter. They are spending the future of our children and condemning them to a life of debt to pay for our generation desire to live above our means. While the politicians make their political supporters rich.

They know that they can play upon the emotions of their base to tell them what they want to hear and give them whatever they want to get them to blindly follow. Their belief that the ends justify the means allows for corruption beyond anything seen before on a national level. This has not only changed the nature of the nation, it has redefined civility. Now a civil tone is when you are either lying about your opponent or making threats and attempting to intimidate anyone opposed to looting the treasury.

It is amazing how one party has embraced voter fraud to such an extent that they no longer fear not only being caught, but that there will ever be any backlash. As long as the corruption is so deep within a political party the dangers of uncontrolled corruption may have already grown too far to be turned back. With the wiling compliance of the media the possibility of true reform becomes remote. There are attempts to reinstate voter IDs in many states, even though the corruption is well within the Department of Justice and courts to the point that these actions may be declared illegal. If voter ID laws are overturned by the Democrat operatives within the government then there is no hope for the United States. Our republic dies once there is no longer even the resemblance of an opposition party. Don’t get me wrong, in many ways there is no longer an opposition party. The Republican leadership by far is more concerned with befriending and compromising with the Democrats, including supporting every Progressive policy put forth, than acting in opposition to this corruption of the system.

I hope that all is not lost. The American people have begun to awaken to the threat from Washington. But I fear it maybe too little too late. There are so many who look to the government for too much. Too many have sold their souls to servitude to the state. It is hard to convince people that they should turn down “free” stuff when they no longer have the desire to make a change. The Progressives have had such a large head start and are so entrenched in the government that it is a huge task to dislodge them and shutdown so many leaches on our society. Too many people now believe that only the government can provide the solutions to our problems. That is where the rollout of the ACA could be a stepping stone to a real solution.

The failure of healthcare.gov is a golden opportunity to point out the glaring incompetence of the Progressive system. With the overreach of the Democrats to try and take on such a massive task as the takeover of the healthcare system there is an opportunity to beat them at their own game. It is important that people understand that the root of the cause of the problem is the government. They are the ones who attack the free market to begin with and did not allow the normal ebb and flow of the market to correct and adjust. The government’s court system, the bar system, and lawyers allowed and sometimes encouraged lawsuits that crippled and corrupted the medical system. There has been for a long time too much interference in the practice of medicine where it should have not been. On the other side there has been little or no government oversight of the abortion industry which has been supported by the Progressives as if it had nothing to do with the practice of the medical arts. The change will have to come from within and without the government. It may not be too late, but time is running out at a fast pace.

So no Mr. Obama did say: If you like your nation, you can keep your nation. For that would have been as a big a lie as the one about keeping your current doctor and healthcare. He most definitely has no plans to allow you to keep your doctor, healthcare, or your nation. When he said that he was going to fundamentally transform the nation, he meant it. Healthcare was just the beginning. If he is allowed a third term or Hillary Clinton is elected in 2016 then by 2020 there will be no United States of America as we know it. There will be a one party dictatorship run by crony billionaires who will be so far above the law that the rest of us will no longer matter. Even if Obama or Clinton loses and a Progressive Republican is elected the process will only slow slightly. By 2020 or 2024 the ending will still be the same. But by 2016 we may already be too far gone to pull back any of the damage done by this current regime on both sides of the aisle.

RHIP

If you’ve ever been, known someone, or lived with anyone in the military then you should have heard of RHIP or Rank Has Its Privileges. This comes some cold hard truths. The higher your rank the more important you are to the success of the whole. Officers can do things that enlisted personal cannot. At each level up the more privilege an officer will be able to access. This is also true in civil and political life.

But with privilege comes another something else. RHIR or Rank Has Its Responsibilities. One of my favorite movie scenes is from Ben-Hur. It is were Judah Ben-Hur stands before Pontius Pilate and is meet at the bottom of the steps to his throne. He comes to him as a friend and warns him that if he will only go back to Rome he will not punish him. But once he climbs the steps, he is no longer his friend but the representative of the Roman Empire. We select people every 2, 4, or 6 years to represent not only us, but to protect the nation and the laws that guarantee the safety and security over the long term.

Our elected officials are just citizen servants charged with the assume responsibility. They should not only be looking at the needs of the present, but also considering the future. Today too many of the people serving in Washington seem to be looking more to the next election or next year then the ramification of their decisions made today. This short sightedness can lead to disaster. Not only their legislation but their words are very important.

The President holds a very special position in this nation. He helps to set the example for the nation and by his words alone can make dramatic changes to the culture. President Obama was elected as much of an unknown to many of those who voted for him. Mr. Obama like any president is responsible for holding the nation’s people together, to comfort them in times of trouble, and console them in times of need, hardship, or disaster. But he has failed at every attempt to do so.

We are a nation of minorities but the president seems to favor one minority of all the others. At every opportunity that he has had to calm the nation he has instead seemed to gladly divide us. This is such an epic failure. But many of those he choices to pander to are more than willing to not only accept it, but seem to love the division created. Since his election he is quite willing to play down to the lowest common denominator in our society. It is easy to understand why those who are protesting the death of a person by looting and rioting are not interested in the law or equal justice. They only see an opportunity to commit crimes with the blessing of those in power.

Those whose jobs requires the protection of the innocent citizens must make sure that those willing to ignore the rules of a civil society are not encouraged by their actions. No matter if you agree with what you are doing or not the needs of the many do outweigh the wants of the few. The President has and continues to fail every time he makes inflammatory statements to incite violence.

We must find leaders who are willing to not only protect the nation from enemies from without but from within. When leaders no longer are willing to make the hard choice and serve only their narrow minded objectives, then we as a people will not be a nation for much longer. The violence in the streets being promoted and applauded by many who claim leadership roles are not what is best for our nation. Before this cold race war becomes a hot race war, those who are pushing it should really look at will could be gained and lost. It is not always the leaders of the revolution who wind up in power. Minority armies even with the support of the government may find that they are just pawns in a bigger game.

It is time for those in Washington and around the nation to step up, take responsibility, and do their jobs. Or we as a people must band together to restore law and order to our nation before it collapses under its own weight.

Living In Fantasy Land

In the 1950s Walt Disney dreamed of an amusement park. “It was a vision of a place where children and parents could have fun together.” This dream was realized in the creation of Disneyland. Within Disneyland one of the popular sections is Fantasyland. Fantasyland was created with the goal to "make dreams come true" from the lyrics of "When You Wish Upon a Star." It is good for the human condition to, on occasion, relieve the stress of everyday life and indulge in relaxation. But it is very unhealthy to live your life divorced from reality.

It is very frightening to realize how many adults seem to live in a fantasyland that they have created. The Progressive movement and the New Age Religion have encouraged this type of delusional thinking. A major idea behind Progressive thinking is the idea that man can create a perfect world. The belief that man can find a way to change the world to fit their image of perfection should make everyone worry. What happens to those who do not fit their mold? Just what will happen to those who don’t match or agree with the prefect image created by those in power? How far will this totalitarian regime go to control this perfect world? What price will have to be paid by those who think differently?

To demonstrate such thinking you only need to look at what people are saying about the terrible shootings in Newtown, Connecticut. Before the victims had been removed from the school house, people were already wallowing in the blood. They wasted no time to start blaming the violence on guns and demanding new gun control laws. It doesn’t matter that this tragic event had nothing to do with guns or so-called “assault” weapons. This entire affair falls directly on the shoulders of government and misguided gun laws. The laws now being proposed in Congress are the reaction of blood thirsty politicians who were just waiting for the next mass killing to manipulate the emotions of the American People. They wasted no time to dance out and propose new laws and attempt to undo (dare I say it) progress made over the last few years to undo the damage done by the gun grabbers in the past. Many are being misled into believing lies, half-truths, and misinformation about the cause of this tragic attack by a coward.

There is the idea that we would all be safer if all guns were taken out of the hands of American Citizens. The idea comes right out of fantasy land. Those who live in this fantasy land believe that the problem is the guns. That anyone who owns a gun should be considered a criminal. The idea that anyone would ever need to engage in self-defend is a crazy notion. They believe that somehow we can put all of the evil in the world back into Pandora’s Box. They see guns as the root of evil and that without guns people would not kill one another. Well that is simply crazy. Guns are not the problem. Yes we do live in a society that has violence in it. But that is the nature of a free society. We must accept some violence but we must also be able to fight violence with violence. That is what self-defense is all about. Guns are not the only device that can be used to mortally wound another person. But that really is not the point. Man alone cannot end man’s inhumanity to man.

As the Progressive / Democrats have moved to outlaw gun possession in this country, crime increased. Now as states have undone the anti-gun laws and instituted concealed carry laws, the crime rate has decreased. In many cases this is due to those who might consider robbing someone, are now uncertain of who might be ready, willing, and able to fight back. A potential victim may be well armed and willing to use it. The biggest problem with the implementation of these laws, and the ones that came before, is the creation of free-fire/killing zones. The most glaring are educational institutions. If I walk into a school building, or any place that does not allow concealed-carry, I know that all the law abiding people in there are unarmed. Unless there is an armed police officer or security guard, the criminal feels free to create as much mayhem as they wish. If they are suicidal then they can go down in a blaze of glory with the Left Stream Media more than willing to give them the notoriety they desire. But if there is the possibility that their potential victims will fight back, their blaze of glory will turn into a short lived news flash, soon forgotten.

Almost every morning millions of parents send their children off to government run schools. In the fall parents send their teenager off to government regulated colleges. These schools and colleges should be safe. But the government has failed in their primary responsibility because politicians refuse to admit that they were wrong. By preventing the trained professionals who are committed to not only teaching but protecting their daily charges, they created an environment that welcomed the type of events that have occurred in Newtown and other educational institutions in this nation. By not trusting the educators to protect their charges they created an environment that allowed this coward to walking and kill at will. I will not use the name of any coward that commits mass murder to gain fame. By creating schools that are “gun free” the state welcomed anyone so inclined, to have no fear of meeting any resistance as they carry out whatever senseless act they wish. Sandy Hook Elementary School’s only protection was a locked door. There was nothing else standing in the coward’s way that could even slow him down. This is a failure of government and the politicians who promised to keep our children safe. This is not the fault of educators as a whole. Many of them feel responsible for their students and would do anything to protect them. You need to look no further than the heroics of those adults killed at Sandy Hook.

I’m an educator. After the murders at Virginia Tech, there were those of us that hoped that those in power would see the danger created by not allowing educators the ability to defend our students. But all the talk was about gun control and improving security plans. (It is easy to see how security plans fall apart.) Yes, many schools studied the murders at VT and put in new procedures, but few really made any major changes. After a while most administrators simply forgot or moved on to other projects. Little has changed on many campuses that would stop the type of death and destruction seen at VT.

Now I know that the detractors will say: That we can’t trust teachers to actually carry and use firearms in a school. But why can we not trust them? Why haven’t we already had an educator who opened fire on their students? As it has been said many times; murder is illegal. So what is stopping any person who wants to kill from carrying out that crime? If you are going to murder someone in a public place, you are not going to care about whether or not it is illegal to possess a firearm. So yes we actually have to trust law abiding citizens who are charged with the protection of innocent children, young and in many cases adults.

I’m not saying that you should arm every educator in the nation, no more that everyone in the country should be forced to wear a gun all the time. What I’m saying: is that we should remove the label free-fire zone from our schools and make sure that a coward will never feel comfortable with the idea that they can walk into any educational institution and kill at will. We should never have children huddled, defenseless, in a closet waiting for a cowardly madman to take their lives. It is time to take action to stop limiting guns, but improve access to the guns that are needed by law abiding citizens. Any move to disarm the nation will leave everyone at the mercy of the next madman who wishes to impose his will or kill us outright. The Progressive anti-gun lobby would have us all cowering, defenseless like the victims at Sandy Hook.

So, no we are unable to stop all violence. We cannot live in a perfect world as the Progressives wish. We must demand some answers to one very important question. What do they do with those who don’t fit or accept their definition of “perfect?” The last attempts at creating perfect societies were major human disasters. I can name three off the top of my head:

1. Jonestown
2. Pol Pot’s Cambodia
3. Adolf Hitler’s Germany.

All ended badly in mass murder. But don’t forget about Stalin’s Soviet Union and Mao’s China. Each killed millions and still didn’t fulfill the stated goal. Perfection is in the eye of the beholder.

I don’t want to live in a world controlled by those who would try to create a “Brave New World” on the bodies of millions of their victims. This is a disaster that would make the Sandy Hook killings look more like a happy day at the park. There is nothing perfect about that world. That is not a fantasy land, it is a nightmare. Don’t forget that man is not perfect and any attempt to create perfection will not end well. We must live in a reality that does not always fit our idea of how we desire to live, but it beats living under the total control a tyrant who is willing to kill millions just to satisfy they desires.

We live in a very dangerous world. We need the people in positions of influence to not be delusional. But in the hours following the last few tragedies the news media (Left Stream Media) was painting the standard narrative, blaming the violence on "Assault" weapons. The Second Amendment, and the NRA. Just like Vichy Captain Louis Renault (Claude Rains) in Casablanca as soon as the media hears a gun shot they round up the usual suspects. Which any thinking person should realize is a smoke screen. They start to play upon the emotions of the moment to convince us that the only way to stop this from happening again is to throw away one of our most important freedoms. Unfortunately I'm sure that many of the uninformed believe the media. It is up to the informed to fight back against those who have shown no regard for those killed. They only wish to use the blood of the innocent victims to: In the words of Rahm Emmanuel "not let a crisis go to waste."

The failure of the current system is not due to guns, it is due to unrealistic and unconstitutional gun control laws. We as a people must live in the real world. In the real world there are monsters, madmen, and pure evil. Believing that we can change that and still live a life of liberty and happiness is living in a fantasy land. The real world is real. Living in fantasy is a step closer to the madness that propelled the coward to murder the innocents of the world.

Thoughts from Thursday 2-9-2012

Obama Goes PAC-ing:
Well once again the President decided to take the path with the most cash. With all the talk of him being able to raise $1 billion for his reelection war chest, there seems that that is not enough. Could it be that he is not raising the large amount of money that they were bragging about? Could it be that all of the rich Democrats that he was sure would back him, no matter what, are not coughing up the donations? Could it be that his campaign chest is not filling up as quickly as he and the machine backing him thought? It seems that the DNC Convention is running into some issues when it comes to funding.

Could it be that he is see the damage that the GOP Super PACs are doing in the primaries and now beginning to understand how they will be going after him? He has lived a very charmed political life. His opponents have fallen before his campaign and their dirty Chicago style tricks and thuggery. So now it seems that the man who promised to limit his 2008 fundraising, and his opponent did, to the government level of matching funds has once again decided to take the low road. He will do exactly what I expected and is now getting ready to release his Super PAC.

Once again Mr. Obama says one thing and does the exact opposite. If a person really believes in something they will not compromise their principals. Unless of course a person has no core principals of honesty. Over the last few years, since Mr. Obama has come to national prominence, I’ve come to doubt the integrity of the current President. He is willing to do anything, is seems, to win. I can not believe that such a person has the best interest of the American people as his first objective. I would seem that he only wants to win. That winning will not help the nation as a whole. His winning will only continue the pain that he has inflected on those who work hard, follow the rules, and believe that the American dream has not died. His idea of the it will turn it into a nightmare. His Super PAC may or may not succeed, but if he wins due to attacks that it makes on the American system, it will be a lose for all of us.

I can only hope that come November the Obama's will not be PAC-ing but are packing.

The Obama Compromise:
If you don’t have faith in anything then you can not understand a person who does believe in something greater than themselves. The one thing that I find that those of the Progressive mind set have the least amount of faith in, is the American people. The only thing that they seem to believe in, is themselves. This is really troubling for the country now that progressives have such a strangle hold on the nation.

This last week’s compromise involving religion and forced financing of birth control shows how the President believes that his ability to persuade people is greater than the faith of thousands of years. The attack on the core beliefs of so many people is the height of arrogance by the Administration. I’ve noticed that one characteristic of the President is a total lack of understanding of faith and the heart of the American people. The idea that Americans are willing to toss out centuries of human experience and knowledge for the orders of a government overreaching the authority given to it.

The President does have a strange idea of what the word compromise actually means. His lack of experience shines through when you look at how he handled the whole situation. He seems to think that he could sit down and talk with a couple of leaders in the Catholic Church and convince them that they should deny their faith and accept the will of the government. This is the type of stories that were common in Europe, where Churches and the state shared power by enforcing the will of the rulers. He thinks that a compromise is when he gets everything that he wants. That is not a compromise

The separation of Church and State that the liberals love to misrepresented as a total separation of the Church controlling the State is really the principal of the State not controlling the Church. That is the real meaning of the First Amendment. The idea that the government can suddenly take control of the religious life in this country is at total conflict with the ideas of our founders. The First Amendment and the foundations of our government are more important than the ambitions, plotting, scheming, and power hunger of a few individuals. It is time to demand the repeal of ObamaCare and all of the regulations created so far. This 100 year old plan of the Progressives to take control of the nation and its health care system flies in the face of our God given freedoms and the faith. No matter what we each believe. Today all people of faith must unite to defend and preserve this nation.

So to accept the Obama Compromise is to compromise your principals and turn your back on the freedoms and history of our nation. I'll say no to his ideas and his totalitarian rule.

To Kill a Mockingcain:
In 1960 Harper Lee’s American Classic novel “To Kill a Mockingbird” was published. Two years later it was released in movie form, starring Gregory Peck, Brook Peters, and Robert Duvall. For anyone who has never heard the story (and there should be few) the major theme is the trial of Tom Robertson, a black man falsely accused of raping Mayella Ewell, a white woman in the deep south of the United States. In this Pulitzer Prize winning novel the racism and injustice of depression era south is examined. Even though it was determined that Mayella had lied about the rape Tom is found guilty.

The novel was based in the year 1936 during the Great Depression the events of the last few weeks reminded me of “To Kill a Mockingbird” and is occurring during the Great Recession. Just like Tom Robertson, Mr. Herman Cain has been tried and convicted but Mr. Cain trial occurred in the media. I can’t and very few people really know if the accusations are true. It just seems odd the way that all of this became public. The Left Stream Media is happy to cover up charges made against Democrat such as Bill Clinton and John Edwards. In Sen. Edwards case there was much more current evidence then the claims against Mr. Cain.

If you are not aware of the history of President Obama’s political career, then you need to look at the “scandals” and bad luck that has befallen his past opponents. With help of a news media that is more than willing to destroy anyone for any reason, Mr. Cain never stood a chance once he became the target. Mr. Cain was a victim of the willing allies of the DNC the Left Stream Media and their attempt to control the Republican primary by determining the GOP’s candidate. The media repeated the allegations over and over again until it did not matter whether they were true or not. The damage was done.

I must say that I felt that Mr. Cain was a viable candidate for President of the United States, but I had some problems with his 9-9-9 plan. But I don’t believe that there is anything known as a perfect person. The last thing we need is another slick politician in the oval office. We also don’t need a bunch of slick bureaucrats surrounding our President.

So I really would like to know if there is anyway that a man can get a fair trail in the press. I know the answer but the idea that a black man was found guilty for allegations of sexual misconduct with nothing but allegations may prove that we have not as fair as we claim and that like Tom in “To Kill a Mockingbird” it is still possible to play upon the racial prejudices. Mr. Cain may or may not be guilty, but he had no way of defending himself against the onslaught of the press. Atticus Finch may be able to prove him innocent, but the real trial is over and the results are no different today then in 1936. The Democrat party should be ashamed of such tactics.

Fast and Furious with the Truth:
Following the general rules set down by Rohm Emmanuel it was reveled last week that Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearm used the crisis to push for more firearms sales restrictions. Those in charge of the ATF have no shame and once again prove that they are a corrupt organization. This organization has once again shown that it is willing to do almost anything to violate the Constitution. I’ve not forgotten the disaster caused by the overreach of ATF at Ruby Ridge and Waco. In both of those shameful incidences the ATF in the former used entrapment and the latter recklessness that violated the rights of American citizens.

Those involved with this current disaster of an operation should be looking at criminal prosecutions. Beyond that there are definite signs that the entire organization seems to verge on being criminal. There mission is not to overturn the Second Amendment. Of course I believe that their mission should really be reviewed and their connection to the IRS and treasury be examined very closely. Something stinks about this whole Fast and Furious operation. The truth must be revealed and heads must roll this time. It is time for the ATF to face the music. It is no wonder why gun sales are increasing. With the government overreach and repeated abuse of power, more and more are beginning to fear the motives of those in positions of power.

I hate to even write about the Organize Wall Street crowd. I think they have been given too much attention. This disorganized band of Socialists, Communists, Progressives, and assorted uninformed “useful idiots” have not been able to communicate a message that appeals to the 99% they claim to represent. They have however shown that they do speak for many elected Democrats and the Left Stream Media. This display of lawlessness and open display of ignorance of economics is scary. Seeing a bunch of poor spoiled rich kids and 50 something hippies with their iPhones and iPads demonstrating with a bunch of undercover multi-millionaire celebrities is frightening to see. It would be hilarious if not for the underlying message that it sends out to those who understand the danger. Instead of protesting against the crony capitalism that has been set up by the government, they are attacking the basis of our prosperity.

This nation is the most prosperous nation in the history of the world. Our poor are the richest poor people not only in the world, but in history. The whole idea of that the disparity between the rich and the poor is growing means nothing, as long as the wealth of the rich was obtained honestly. (More on that later.) Looking at those that demand the end of, not crony capitalism, but capitalism, and demanding socialism means that they would condemn all but the ruling class to perpetual poverty. Wealth throughout history has been rare and only in the hands of a few. Well today the average person in this country lives in luxury that has never occurred. Sure there are a few select people who live much better than the rest, but that has always been the way things have been. Taking away the wealth from a few of the wealthy is not going to improve the lives of anyone. It will only serve to increase the poverty of us all. You can never raise the boats in harbor by lowering the water level.

While the TEA Party represents the idea that we must return to the Constitution and that the Federal Government has overstepped the power granted to them, the OWS represents tyranny and totalitarianism. Those who organized and funded these socialistic demonstrations have their roots in the administration, ACORN, SEIU, and the Progressives in government. This is why they are blaming Wall Street and ignoring the policies of the Federal Government that not only allowed the corruption but encouraged it. The Cronyism that made millions for those who supported the subversion of our legal system and the slow destruction of the rights of the American people is based in Washington, not on Wall Street.

Although the comparison to the TEA Party were made by many Progressives in an attempt to gain support for this new Progressive movement the reality is quite different. Unlike the claims of racism that were never supported, the OWS gang has demonstrated Anti-Semitism repeatedly. The entire OWS movement was an extension of the so-called Arab Spring. The demonstration with the underlying and overt racism and Anti-Semitic attacks on the Jewish people overstep the bounds and shows that those supporting this so-called movement are hate-filled and does not represent the 99% of hardworking Americans who believe in the freedoms that made this country the greatest on Earth. Their hate for the nation and the average citizen shines through all of the glowing remarks presented by those in the media and government are making. Those supporting those who hate are no friend of the American people and should be shunned. The media continues to declare that all Republicans and members of the TEA Party are racist, with no evidence provided, continues. While ignoring OWS open racism only shows the hate that exists, not in the TEA Party, but in those who repeat this lie.

Insider Traitors?:
For years I’ve heard that Washington DC was the crime capital of the nation. Well is seems that the real crimes have not been reported. Compelling evidence has been presented by Peter Schweizer and backed up by an episode of CBS’s 60 Minutes that the corruption in the US Congress is much more serious then many of us want to believe. For years many people have wondered how politician go into Government with few assets and leave worth millions. It seems that Mr. Schweizer has solved this “mystery.”

I’ve heard many reasons why Congress is exempt from the laws that they pass. One refers to English common law where in the early days of Parliamentary rule, members of Parliament would be arrested to prevent them from voting. This allowed the King or others members to affect the outcome of key votes and thus hold on to power. Another is similar but the motives are the same. It seems that our once “public servant” see themselves in Imperialist roles as not only above the laws that govern the nation, but above human ethics and morality that make for a safe, secure, and civil society.

Many of those who have sworn to protect the Constitution have been caught with their hand in the pockets of us all. They have not only exempted themselves from the law, but have placed themselves above the law. This proves proof that the nation is no longer governed by laws and equal justice, but is now a nation of individuals who are governed by their own rules of ethics and immorality.

It seems that members of Congress can use insider knowledge, that anyone else would be locked away for using, to manipulate the stock market, invest in land deals, and obtain political payoffs, via IPO stock options to enrich themselves and friends. Such use of insider information is illegal for everyone else, since it can cause major damage to the economy through the manipulation of stock prices. It also allows those in power to protect their investments, while destroying the value of those who are unaware of the privilege information.

This insider trading has been occurring for years. It has allowed many of those in power to preserve that power. It has also perpetuated the culture of cronyism and corruption that continues to rightly destroy the American people’s trust in our leadership in Washington. Looking back at Nancy Pelosi’s speech upon taking the leadership in the house when she said she was going to drain the swamp, I can only say that you can’t trust the alligators to do that job.

Watching the other hand - Fast and Furious:
While everyone was obsessing over the so-called debt ceiling crisis, few are really watching the real story of that week. The Democrats in Congress and the White House needed a crisis to cover the Fast and Furious hearings. It is interesting that this all came to a head the same week that the House started hears on the ATF. Just in case you haven't heard (which is not surprising to me) about F&F then hang on. Starting in 2009 the ATF started a "sting" called Fast and Furious. Under this program the ATF told gun dealers on the southern border state to sell weapons to suspected gunrunners. Thousands of guns were illegally set into the sovereign state of Mexico and into the hands of the drug cartels. The ATF has said that the purpose was to follow the guns and find out who was involved in the illegal operations. The truth seems to be something much more involved.
After all this time this story has not received the light of day that it deserves. While member of Congress and the Obama Administration were demanding stricter gun controls, it is discovered that the violence used to justify the proposed laws is not rooted in the law. The violence was part of an ATF plan to sell the weapons that caused the violence. There are those who say that there is no connection between the two. If you really believe that, then I can only believe you to be a fool.

Mission Accomplished:
Today it was announced that the “Super Committee” was unable to come to an agreement to cut the deficit. What else is there to say? Is anyone really surprised? How can you expect to put together the most entrenched and partisan members in Congress and expect anything other than disagreement? It can only be that the mission of this committee was to do nothing. There is no common ground between the two parties. The Democrats need issues to run on next year. The Republicans also must satisfy their base. But party is not as much a problem as ideology. The Progressive Socialists in both parties only want to increase their power at any cost. Their goal is to increase the power of Washington and destroy the freedoms that have made this country great. We must throw the Progressives in Congress and the White House out of power before they accomplish that final mission.

From Tragedy to Tyranny?

My original plans for last weekend were to post my retrospect of 2010, but after the events of Saturday January 8th 2011 I changed my mind. That post was to be followed by a look into the New Year. Both of those posts were put aside and may never be finished. When I saw the news of the terrible events in Tucson Arizona I lost all interest in those ideas. But as I saw the inhuman and totally uncalled for response from the jackals in the Progressive media and various members of Congress I grew sad for the state of our nation and leaders. As they crawled into the gutter and rolled in the blood of the dead they demonstrated a total lack of human decency. Out of respect I decided to try and regain some composure before I made any comments on these tragic events.

I don’t think I need to recount all of the events of January 8th 2011. An individual with unknown reasons attacked and killed innocent people. It is apparent that he is, or has worked very hard to convince many that he is mentally disturbed. It appears that he and he alone is responsible for this national tragedy, but with the response from those on the left I keep wondering if the attacks afterwards were a little too well planned out. This was an evil person. The political attacks afterwards was even more evil.

I’m beginning to wonder who is more mentally disturbed, the shooter or certain members of Congress or members of the Left Stream Media. For the last 2 years certain members of the media have talked constantly about hate and provided no evidence that there were any threats of violence on the right. The only threats, that I know of, are from the left. It is one thing to disagree with a person and to point out the reasons why you disagree, but something completely different to accuse someone you disagree of acts when there is no proof of such claims.

Paul Krugman was the first in the Progressive Media to climb into the gutter and wallow in the fresh blood of the innocent victims that were killed and wounded. There is no excuse for the hate that he demonstrated and continues to be repeated. People like Chris Matthew, Ed Schultz, and Keith OlberFührer are happy to use the death of innocents in an attempt to silence anyone who has different beliefs. They have happily attempted to smear that blood in an attempt to silence the American people who are demanding a return to the rule of law. It is ridiculous for anyone to say that people who are on the side of Constitutional government and are demanding enforcement of the law would have anything to do with someone advocating violence. But the radicals who now occupy the media are willing to go to any means to push through an agenda that is contrary to the sensibility of many. They are the ones who have been using inflammatory language and in many cases outright lies.

There is a major difference between hate and truth. It is a fact that many people will like you when you say what they want to hear and will not like you when say what they don’t. The real hate from the left is being fueled by those who are presenting facts that they don’t want most Americans to hear. This is the reason why some in Congress are attempting to silence truth tellers. By exposing lies and deceptions of those on the left those on the right are interfering with the attempt to impose tyranny upon the nation. They continue to put forth perverted attempts to remove civil rights and take away the rights that the Constitution was written to protect. But instead of examining the facts, these merchants of hate created an atmosphere designed to encourage even more distrust and hate. Many of the unstable on the left are still repeating tales that have been proven to be false. Even the feeble call of the President for a civil tone has been ignored by many who have built their careers on not just winning but destroying anyone who holds a different view. The libelous and slanderous attacks only serve to encourage more anger and possible violence from the Socialist and Progressives.

Every time I see Matthews, Schlitz, or OlberFührer I see a 12 year old girl running away and screaming I hate you, I hate you, I hate you. These are hate filled merchants of death who are losing the debate and are willing to say or do anything in an attempt to silence it. The same can be said for the members of Congress who are calling for gun control laws and restrictions on free speech. They are mistaking truth for hate. They are afraid not so much of violence but that they could lose their jobs. After seeing the election results from last year and realizing that the only way in which they can continue their power grab is to attack those who wish to return to a lawful government.

Are we heading further down the road to tyranny? What we’ve seen is nothing more than an attempt to derail any opposition by grabbing power. They have attempted to impose a super strict version of Political Correctness. Political Correctness is nothing more the attempt to silence all conversations about controversial subjects and restrict speech. As PC spreads the door to tyranny opens wider. The attacks from the Progressive Socialist have gone too far. Their attempts at overturning the election results can not stand. We must ignore their hateful discourse as they try to use our own sensibilities against us. We must stand up to this foolishness from the left. These polls that they keep citing and their attempt to redefine what the American people really want is their way of trying to sit down and shut up. We are winning and their lies can not stand. We know why we voted the Democrats out of office and we understand what is wrong with our government. They can not be allowed to win this fight. We must win and silence these anti-American Progressives. We can not be defeated by these tyrants.
