Thoughts for Thursday 12-2-10

Government Transparence
Even before the Obama Administration came to office, he was promising the most transparent administration in history. The thought came to me that the whole Wikileak affair seems to be an attempt to fulfill that promise. Forget all the backroom deals and closed door meetings. The locking out of the opposition party from presenting amendments to bills or even discussing, much less reading, the bills presented. So now we find out that so-called “secret” documents are available to millions of people. Now that is what you call STUPID, I mean transparent.

From Citizens to Serfs
This week a Federal Judge ruled that all American Citizens are now property of the Government. In his ruling to dismiss the challenge to ObamaCare it is clear to me that he did not consider the Constitution. His decision was absolutely political. He talks about how insurance rate would go up, as if they are going down now. To quote: “(Judge) Moon found that without the coverage requirements in the law, the cost of health insurance would increase because the number of insured individuals would decline, ‘precisely the harms that Congress sought to address with the Act’s regulatory measure’.” This judge was appointed by Bill Clinton and showed that his allegiance is to the Progressive movement.

So once again a politically corrupt judge makes a decision not on the content of the Constitution, but based upon the intent of the law. We find ourselves being ruled by tyrants who believe that they can legislate anything. Their arrogance is feed by a system that fully supports every crazy idea that they dream up. I guess Pete Stark was correct when he said: “The Federal Government can do most anything in this country.” Since Mr. Stark was reelected to his seat it would seem that he was correct or at least his continuants believed that he should continue to destroy what is left of our republic. We are nearing the end of this road to subjugation.

Net Neutrality
Continuing down our road to a Fascist State, we hear that the FCC is going to ignore Congress and the Courts to impose Net Neutrality. The country takes another step into the dustbins of history. This is yet another example of the failure of rule of law. Considering that the Administration is the law enforcement arm of the government it can only be said by me; that we can no longer trust our government since laws are meaningless.

The TSA Abuse Continues
When I saw this video I was not surprised, but I was very upset. When the Homeland Security Administration and TSA were created, there were a lot of people saying that it was a really bad idea. I was not online at that time but I totally agreed then and now. It was pointed out that these “TSA Agents” would be poorly educated and trained. Poorly educated and trained people do not handle power well. (In fact most highly educated people have the same problem.) We were promised that they would “NEVER” be allowed to form unions, which as we now see was a lie.

Now we have a bunch of power hungry TSA tyrants waiting to harass a young woman, who is following the rules, just to show that they have the power to do it. Why else would they treat this woman in such a manner? How many times do they need to search a person? It is time to either shutdown the Transport Security Administration, replace these little want-to-be Hitlers with some common sense security measures, and really protect the American subjects/citizens. Of course now that we are property of the government, I guess we should be thanking these people for not “putting” that woman “down” for thinking that the TSA Agents would actually follow their own rules. As good servants to our new rulers we must learn to no question the representatives of our glorious leaders.

Please do what I am doing, call you Senators and Representative in Congress. Let them know that the Obama Administration is pushing the American people to the breaking point. Now I know that there are a lot of Progressives who will say; “but the TSA was started by the Bush Administration” as if somehow say that “Bush did it” makes it an intelligent response with nothing further needed to be said. What does that have to do with it? Sorry that does not shut down the conversation. It only shows the ignorance of the person who said it.

Wesley Snipes
To bad Obama couldn’t find a position in the White House for Wesley Snipes. It would have saved him from having to go to prison. Don’t believe me? Well how else can you explain Tim Geithner and Charlie Rangel?

A Special Thanks to Mr. Al Gore
Back when Mr. Gore was the Vice-President, he appeared on TV and floated the idea that anyone that made $250K a year was a millionaire. When challenged by the host he said: “If you make $250,000 for four years then that is a million dollars.” So he was to float the idea that “rich” was $250K. Before that time anyone who made a million dollars in a year was considered “rich.” Well the problem with this whole idea is the lack of consideration of inflation. I don’t make anything close to the current Democrat definition of “rich.” I’m not the type of person to covet the possessions of others, like most Progressives. I live my life to make an honest living and cringe every time I hear some greedy politician, who has never created a private sector job talk about the “wealthy.”

You must understand that the US Federal Government does not tax wealth. They tax income. Look at some of the most rabid member of Congress who constantly attack the “tax breaks for the rich.” Most of them are rich. They are only protecting their own power. They don’t want a bunch of new rich people gaining power. These enterprising individuals could be a danger to those who have “worked very hard for their titles.”

Consider the examples of Bill Gates and Warren Buffett. They have been very successful businessmen. They built fortunes on the back of other people’s labor. They are both started trust funds to “give away” their fortunes. Bill and Melinda Gate are traveling the world looking for worthy charities to support. Warren Buffett is doing the same. Both Bill and Warren have come out for tax increases. Well both of these men could donate as much money as they wanted to the Feds. In fact the one question that I would love to ask both of these men is: If the Federal Government is really worthy enough to take more money from the people, then why oh why are they giving their money to private charities and foundations? It would appear to me that they understand that giving their money to the government would be a waste of their fortunes. I can only say; shame on Bill Gates and Warren Buffett for taking such contradictory stances and supporting the destruction of the US. They know better, but have been living the high life so long that they forget what it is like to run a small struggling company, or lose sleep at night worrying about making a payroll.

START
Mr. Obama talked today about trust between the US and Russia. My question is: What about the trust between the US citizens and our new dictatorial government. We can not depend on the Department of Justice to protect voters from harassment. We know that the US Government thinks that open borders and millions of foreign occupiers, whose loyalties are not to this country, are good things.

So no Mr. Obama, I don’t trust you or your anti-American friends to protect this country by negotiating treaties. I don’t really think that you have the best for this nation in mind and can not believe that you would not give away the farm in an attempt to make “friends” with foreign nations. I also don’t trust the fact that this treaty was not brought to the floor of the Senate until the “lame duck” session. This tactic has the same rotting smell of the Healthcare Deform Bill and the “Stimulus” Bill process. You want to know why the Dems lost the house, then look back at those acts of tyranny and violations of the trust of your subjects.

By the way Mr. Obama, you are President of the United States not President of the Progressive States. If you really want to have the general appearance that you care about this country you must stop worrying about your base. For once in your life you might consider dropping the class warfare and actually try to govern.
