Vote Like Your Country Depends Upon It

Summary
Share
Moderation comes in many degrees. The most common question that I keep hearing asks is whether President Obama will move to the middle if the Republicans take control of Congress. In my opinion I believe that he considers himself in the middle already. He really believes that he is a moderate. You must remember that he surrounded himself with radicals. Marxist, and Communist in College. (His words, not mine.) His mentors have all been Communists. (His words, not mine.) He still surrounds himself with Left Wing Radical, Socialist, Marxists, and Communists. I believe that he see his positions as moderate. Anyone to the right of him is a radical right wing extremist. Just look at how he has treated the American people. He has aligned himself with the people he worked to organize, even though he came from a family of privilege. Besides he is a Socialist not a Communist. Any any good Socialist would consider themselves to be balanced and in the political middle.

Consider that he and most of the Democrats in Congress thought that the nationalization of the healthcare system would be popular. They believe that the American people would fully support their nationalization of the banks and car companies. They don't consider these Socialist/Fascist policies as far left wing programs. They see them as moderate positions. During the entire healthcare debate they sold it as an emergency measure. But after it passed they bragged that it was a 100 year old objective of the Progressives. It sounded a lot like a set up to me. They see everything that they have done as the acts of moderates and only gave lip service to working with anyone to the right of their positions.

We must ignore those who call the Tea Party; extreme. It is important to remember what they think is extreme. They think that enforcing the law, honoring commitments, honoring their oath of office, personal freedom, faith, and liberty are extreme positions. They believe that there are no limits to their power, and that anyone who attempts to stand up for their rights is a right wing radical. If you believe that it is the responsibility of the government to protect the nation and its borders, you are dangerous. Take the time to listen to what they say and how they act. After an honest evaluation it is hard to come to another opinion, no matter how hard it is to admit this to yourself.

You may disagree and say that I'm crazy, but take the time to consider the actions of our leaders. The failure of the US Department of Justice to equally enforce the voters rights act, by dropping charges against the NBP Party shows a dangerous trend in our political system. It appears now that Justice Department Attorneys are being sent to investigate voting in Arizona. They are being sent to investigate the state. It appears that they may be intervening to make sure that Illegal Aliens are not prevented from voting. The attack on our system of justice and the rule of law means nothing to those who only desire power. Obtaining and maintaining power by any means does not present a bright future for this country.

This is only made clearer by his comments in which he defined the America People as enemies. He made those comments in reference to so-called "Comprehensive Immigration Reform" also known as Amnesty for Illegals. He was talking to foreign nationals and defining the American people as enemies. From this statement he seems to be calling for violence. How can a leader of a nation so openly attack the people of his nation? From his actions I have to believe that his agenda is not designed to create a prosperous nation, but is designed to throw this nation into chaos.

In 2006 the American people punished the Republicans for betraying our trust and implementing Progressive policies that violated the common sense of many concerned citizens. Beginning that year the Democrats began the march that lead us to where we are today. An honest look at the policies put in place over the last few years shows that our government has grown into a giant beast that the founders could never imagine.

The President and those in his party talk about the policies of the Bush Administration ignores the fact that the Democrats have control the Congress since 2007. Then Senator Obama was part of the wave that put into power and he is not innocent in the economic crisis that now grips the nation. They refuse to admit that the timing of the economic downturn occurred after they took power. So for those who have controlled the legislation and the purse strings to claim that their policies have been good for the country overlooks history.

Tuesday is election day. There are several personality types that make elections interesting.

Votei-asleepus: This is a dangerous trait. They spend much of their time harmlessly and many times productively, and prefers to stay ignorant to its surroundings. They have been around for years and have become very common. Many don't take the time to vote and stay in a constant state of denial. Some do awaken every two or four years. They rarely appear during the midterm elections, but appear when awaken by certain events. Upon awakening they make critical decisions based on the first or the best sounding commercial they hear. The danger lays in their trust in people they barely know and their willingness to make critical decisions from very limited information. They often fall for catchy slogans such as; "I feel you pain" or "Hope and Change" or "Yes we can." This personality type may be in decline, but without a full understanding of these people it is impossible to tell how many really exist. These people have a very similar type known as the Citizeni-asleepus. They are the same but the latter never votes and close their ears when they hear anything political.

Yellowdogus-democrata: This is another personality trait that is far too common. They live their life based upon the notion that an organization can not be co opted. They live under a belief system that says that: "My parents and their parents and their parents-parents were Democrats, so I'm a Democrat." Another interesting belief is their total belief that all Republican are "rich fat cats" who hate everyone. The latest addition is the idea that anyone who disagrees with the party are extremist Republicans, no matter what. They profess love but preach hate and don't see any contradictions in this core belief. Like the Votei-asleepus many often ignore all politics until they will vote for anyone that is running under the D banner. It is not certain if they even agree or care about the position of those who they vote for as long as they are a member of the Democrat party.

Voteria-frauders: This is the most dangerous of all of the types. They believe that they are superior to all other people and that they must obtain victory, no matter the cost. They work to fix the system and are very useful for those without a conscious with no regard for the system. They only wish to win. They have been a part of human history and will never be extinct. They can only be controlled through vigilance.

There are other types but, many of these are the ones that can cause the most trouble this election day. Some of those in the first category have awoken and must stay awake. For use to reclaim our republic requires that those loyal to our form of government stay aware of the dangers that we face over the coming years. We must go to the polls and vote on Tuesday. We must make sure that those who we put in office are loyal to the Constitution and not to their party and the Progressive movement. We can not allow those who have stolen our liberties to dishearten us. We must speak up and have our voices be heard.

Remember that this is a process. There are no easy answers and some that we send to Washington will betray us, but we must hold their feet to the fire and expect honesty. We must be willing to sacrifice for the future. We can not allow those who are enslaving our future to control the conversation. It is time to act and act now. Vote as if your country depends upon it.

Pedro's Thoughts from Thursday - 10/28/10

Summary
Share
In a frighting flash back to the assassination of Bobby Kennedy, a crazed right wing fanatic rush a Democratic Senatorial candidate this week. Quick thinking by the campaign staff wrestled the near insane person, who was disgusted as a supporter, to the ground with forcefully restrains until the law enforcement was able to respond...Oh I'm sorry it was a radical left wing fanatic from moveon.org dressed as a Rand Paul supporter who was attempting to get close to him. How do we really know this person's intent. The Left Stream Media is happy to say that it was all innocent. But the question still remains. With the radical views and the threats of violence coming almost daily from the left, can we really trust what we are told by the Left and their willing alias in the LSM.

OK. So now it is official, the Governor of Florida is not only a RINO but is also a Democrat. It seems that he makes a better Democrat than the Democrat running for the Senate. Well at least that is what the party thinks since they were trying to get him to drop out of the race. At this rate it may take less than I thought to run the Progressive RINOs out of the party. Now if we can just get the Progressives out of the Democratic party.

It comes as a bit of a surprise this week that the President of the United States removed all doubt about his true feelings toward the American people. With the President overtly and covertly attacking anyone who disagrees with his policies, it was just a matter of time before he openly attacked. I never thought that he would declare his opponents as enemies, but he did. On a Hispanic radio station he encourage the listeners to not help the enemy. I'm not surprised in a way, but I never though that I would be declared an enemy of the President.

So as much as I regret it I'm going to have to admit that our President no long represents many in this nation. He has declared himself an enemy of the people. But with the passage of the so-called Healthcare Deform Law this should not be a surprise to anyone. It explains his attacks on the State of Arizona. The one big question that I would like to know the answer to is: Did the Left Stream Media know about his hate for this country? For him to declare those he has sworn to serve as enemies is a violation of his oath of office. I will not forget this act.

Election day is Tuesday and the media seems to be working to suppress the voter turnout. The attacks on the Tea Party have not slowed. Never before have I heard people who are doing nothing more than wanting the laws of the land enforced being attacked with such venom. It appears that our elected officials are truly afraid of the people.

Tales of voter fraud and the reporting of the resurgence of incumbents would seem to be aimed at discouraging Tea Party voters turnout. The question remains: Do we outnumber them or do they out number us? We must do to the polls on Tuesday. We must watch for voter fraud. We must make sure that this election is fair. Win or lose, we must make sure that the results are an accurate reflection of the American people. Are we free people or do we fall into the slavery of Socialism? The march to a "Progressive Socialist" state will continue unless we stop it now. Don't become discouraged. This is a long fight. We didn't get to this point overnight. We will not recover our Republic overnight. We must fight to save our freedoms.

Separating Church and State

Where in The Constitution are the words "separation of Church and State?" Christine O'Donnell asked this question in a debate last week and was attacked for being ignorant. Being familiar with and a major believer in the First Amendment, I know that those words do not appear in it or the rest of the Constitution. One of my very liberal friends was talking about how the "stupidity" and how unqualified she was for not knowing such a basic fact. I had to challenge him. Once I repeated the First Amendment, he then said; "well it means separation of Church and State." They did the same thing that they always do when they lose an argument, turned and walked away. This happens a lot. I've never pulled a Whoopi Goldberg on him, but it is a common end to conversations.

The idea that the words: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances" means separation of Church and State is an amazing bit of imagination. The attack on Christianity that has been fought by the left in this country depends on the use of the idea that showing Christian faith is unconstitutional. But it doesn't take a constitutional scholar to read the words and understand what it means. For too long the Atheist have used the ignorance of many Americans to take away a basic human right away from us all. I don't care how you worship, even if it is nothing, as long as your faith doesn't interfere with my faith. That is the meaning of the First Amendment.

Any belief system that affects the actions of a person is a religion. The very first words are Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion. But almost daily we see those who practice Atheism push their belief system on us all. They demand that the government remove Christianity and all public display of it from public display. It is not that they are willing to tolerate us, they threaten to sue whenever they see it. Christians are constantly attacked for their faith on the media outlets while Islam is protected.

As I first mentioned last week the phrase that they use is separation of Church and State. Since Christians go to churches this is an attack on Christians. They don't say Mosque and State, Temple and State, or Synagogue and State it is hard to deny that the target is not Jews, Muslims, Buddhists, or other faiths. I will go as far as saying that those who are pushing this agenda are well aware of the fragile state of their argument but think that they can destroy the Christian Church by using our beliefs and sense of fair play against us.

I've never heard of the ACLU suing to prevent Muslims from praying in public. In fact I seem to remember them suing to force schools to give Muslims time to pray. I also remember reports that the same schools that were sued to stop the teaching of Christian beliefs started to teach Islamic beliefs and their reason was: "Islam is not a religion. It is a cultural system. If a government school is not going to teach Christian faith but will teach Islamic faith, then this is a case of the government trying to establish a religion. This is a clear violation of the rights of the Christians. Those who wish us to believe their twisted view would deny us of "the free exercise thereof." Each time the ACLU sues to stop the free exercise of the Christian faith they violate the Constitutional rights of us all. They've won so many lawsuits by default that they have become arrogant.

Last week NPR the National Propaganda Radio showed their true colors again in a very public way. After taking millions of dollars from left wing financier George Soros, they fired a Juan Williams for expressing his opinion on a national program. He simply expressed the same view of many Americans. More and more Americans understand that Islam is more than a religion. It is a total social system. That includes dress, diet, and their own legal system based upon Sharia Law. When you see a person in full Islamic dress you have to wonder how deep their devotion goes. It is nothing more than basic human nature of self preservation to worry about your own safety. I must say that the Federal Government has done nothing in the last few years to make me feel more secure. The actions of NPR were meant to silence the discussion surrounding the intolerance in the Muslim faith. Their Political Correctness does not serve the citizen of this country. They only wish to push their twisted view on the world.

Wall of Misconception: Does the Separation of Church and State Mean the Separation of God and Government?
Does the Separation
of Church and State
Mean the Separation
of God and
Government?
by Peter Lillback
A warning shot was fired this week to let the "left stream media" that they are required to stay on the straight and narrow path of left beliefs. It seems to have backfired. After many years of NPR attacking the America belief system with far left and progressive, hate, intolerance, and propaganda they may have finally crossed the line. They showed their arrogance in a way that upset even their liberal listeners. The uproar may finally force the government to stop pouring money into an organization that does not deserve public money. If what they do is so important then they should be able to sell advertisement and be self supporting like any other network. The idea that they must have government money to survive proves that they are not serving the public.

It is important to remember that the government has been promoting religion through many means. It is pushing Islam and Atheism. NPR and PBS, although considered "private" corporations, are extensions of the government. They depend on Federal and local government money and their founding under a mandate of the State means that they are a government outlet. They have had no reason to serve the public at large or provide fair and balance reporting. If you spend any time at listening to their programming, you will only hear left wing views. The entire episode this week shows that even someone as liberal as Juan Williams is not safe when he stepped outside their liberal views. He got to a taste of Liberal intolerance.

Now is the time for Christians to push back. We must reclaim our rights and silence those who have taken our right to freely exercise our beliefs. No matter what you believe you must see that those who are working to destroy this first of our enumerated rights, will eventually take away all of our rights if we don't stand up now. The idea that somehow the Constitution says that there is a separation of Church and State is insane. For too long we have been divided over petty disagreements. It is time that we accept that what we have in common is much greater then what is dividing us. We must stand up and be counted or we will be forever silenced. The Constitution does not contain the words "separation of Church and State" we can not allow these lies go unchallenged. It is time to stand up to the ACLU and make sure that they no longer deny us of our rights. Their actions are an attack on the basic principles that make this country great. We must reclaim our rights and live and let live.

Thoughts for Thursday - 10/21/10

Summary
Share
1. As the clock winds down toward the midterm elections the definition of extreme has extended to anyone who is not a Democrat. Those in power seem to be working from the basic concept that if you are not a card carrying member of the Democratic party, you are an extremist. Of course if that does not work they want to destroy anyone who is running in opposition. This is no holds barded politics. When you can win on your record lie, cheat, and steal are the rules of those on the left.

2. It seems that too many people in this country believe that somewhere in the Constitution are the words; separation of Church and state. Even though the word Church is not in the founding document. It also seems that too many of our elected officials and lawyers believe that the Constitution includes that statement. The only problem with this belief would be its total absence. At least the belief has been put forward that it appears in the First Amendment. Here is the actual text:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
With all the attacks on religion in this country it would seem to me that those who are saying that there is a separation of Church and state are violating the law. By enforcing this so called separation, they are prohibiting the free exercise of religion. Of course when our elected representatives are so ignorant of the foundations of our government a lot of questions are answered. It explains why they believe that there are no limits on the power of the national government. The founders defined the central government as a Federal government. It has slowly turned into a national government. With this change goes our liberties and freedom.

The atheist that are constantly attacking religion, use the word church which is a reference to Christianity. So I guess that means that they don't want a separation of Temple and state or Mosque and state. The use of the word Church or church narrows down the conversation. Should they not be saying "separation of religion and state?" But since it is a lie that those words appear are in the founding documents, it doesn't matter. Oh I do know that a judge ruled that there is a separation of "church" and state, but rulings can and in this case be overturned.

3. The march of political correctness has been relentless for the last 20 years. It is time for the attack of the first amendment to end. There are limits to speech, but the speech police have gone too far. As long as we sugar coat our language and not allow the open discussion of problems, those problems will continue to fester. Fester wounds never heal.

With the firing of Juan Williams from NPR it is easy to see that there are those who wish to control speech that does not agree with their narrow vision of the world. I'm a freedom of speech guy. I believe that if you suppress speech you only drive it underground. Controlling speech does not control thought. There are too many documented cases of NPR not punishing other reporters and commentators who've voiced their opinion, but their views must have been "right" speech. It seems that it is time to remove all federal money from NPR. Their lack of support of common American values must not go unpunished.

In the marketplace of ideas it is important that good ideas and bad ideas are presented. Those that are good will stand on their own and the bad ones will be dismissed by those who listen. The whole concept of political correctness is a recipe for failure. It should be abandoned and society should decide what is right and what is wrong through the open exchange of speech/ideas. Government officials and the news media have no right to violate the free speech rights of the United States citizens.

It is time to reclaim our freedoms and return to our Constitutional government before it is too late. If we allow those who believe that the treasury is a giant piggy bank to be looted stay in power, then the nation is doomed. We lost our republic last year. We must restore it and return sanity to the nation.

Extremism Redefined

What does it mean to be an extremist? In the past that term was used to describe a person or group that was out of the mainstream of society. For so long the entertainment industry and the government has claimed to be the guardians of the "mainstream" of thought in this country. Their arrogance makes them think that they control society and define what should be the norm of our society. The sad fact is that many in this country do believe that the life shown to them by the major media is the truth of life. Too many of our fellow citizens live in a state of ignorance bliss, thinking that their fantasy world is the real world.

Once again on the Sunday morning talk shows the American people have been bombarded by Democrats talking about the extreme Republican "Tea" Party candidates running in the midterm elections. The Democrats see the Tea Party as a major threat to their agenda. They've worked very hard to discredit an organization that does not exist. There are organized Tea Parties, but there is not and I hope that there will not be a national Tea Party. The Tea Party Patriots and Tea Party Express are Tea Party organizations, but they are not the Tea Party.

The idea of the American people and our God given rights that the government is threatening is what called out many Americans under a common banner. The goals are varied and the ideas are many, but many of the people who are being attacked by the media are nothing more than concerned citizens who woke up one day to realize that the Federal Government was too far out of line. They say that our republic was in danger of falling. With the passage of the so called Healthcare Reform Law our freedoms became even more fragile. The process used by the government to seize control of the healthcare system demonstrated how far out of touch our government had fallen out of touch with the citizens.

The rise of the Tea Party touched many Americans and has caused fear in both major political parties. The smarter leaders and the "powers that be" in both parties saw a grass root movement that spelled trouble. For political partisans like Trent Lott and David Axelrod they saw the one thing that they feared the most; a group of citizens demanding political reform. For people who claim to be so politically attuned they failed to realize or refused to admit that they were out of touch. It appears that the Progressives in both parties have convinced themselves that they could destroy this movement in birth. Both recommended infiltrating and discrediting the movement. They understood that this movement was full of people who were demanding government reform. They understand that this reform will put them, like the current government has done to many of the average citizens, out of work.

The Democrats are repeating the extremist charge at every opportunity. Their goal is to convince as many Americans as possible that they are the norm and anyone who opposes their policies is an extremist. They hope to divide the electorate so that they can maintain power. Once again they put their personal power over the good of the country. Our politicians only seem to be concerned about their power and party. Their agenda, no matter the cost to the country, revolves around empire building. As they grow their power the citizens suffer. Their policy of discrediting the Tea Party is a desperate effort to continue the march of the USA into servitude. Unless we can halt the Democrats agenda our freedoms will be taken away and we will find ourselves living in a third world country. The citizens who love their freedom must continue to stand up and reclaim it.

For those who support the ideas of Tea Party to succeed will require them show patience. The system we are fighting was not built overnight and will not be defeated by one election. This election cycle the Republican Party was venerable. Even though the stated goals of the GOP in line with many in the Tea Party, the leaders are only paying us lip service. Their loyalties are with the party not the country. We must continue to push the Progressives out of the GOP and then work on the Democrats. This is the thing that are expecting, but we have learned that we are the mainstream that the extremism is coming from those who think that they can defeat the people through lies and intimidation. We must find honest people to run for office and back them up no matter what dirt is thrown. We must make sure we vote for the person, not the party. Neither party can be trusted. Remember that you can only trust people not the party. The cost of blindly trusting a party are too high.

It is not extreme to demand that our government follow the laws or our elected officials honor the oath to protect and defend the Constitution. Many of us understand now that those who have obtained power are using it for their own good not for the benefit of the country at large. We see their arrogance and that they don't respect the people of this great nation. They will say anything and tell any lie to maintain the power that they constantly abuse. It is the responsibility of every loyal American to understand that the real extremist are the Progressives and their policies. We can not allow the extremist to define the American system as extreme. We must take our country back. Remember that those people who are ignoring the Constitution, violating, and trampling on the rights of the American people are the extremist.

Thoughts for Thursday - 10/14/10

Why do politicians say that a billion dollars is not a lot of money when it comes to government spending, but when the Tea Party spends a million dollars it is an outrage amount of money or from illegal sources?

The Wall Street Journal used the term Radical Moderates in a article several years ago. I was wondering what their rally chant would be? How about: "WHAT DO WE WANT? WE DON'T KNOW! WHEN DO WE WANT IT? AH, WHENEVER!" Could it be that the independent America voters have begun to realize that our elected representatives are mostly big government liberals? Could it be that both parties have moved so far to the left that those in the center are seen as right wing radicals? Are could it be that those in power, no longer relate to the rest of the nation and are so far removed that they think that they are all powerful?

The President in today's townhall meeting on MTV said we must focus on what we are doing to future generations. Does that include the trillions of dollars in debt that the government is passing along to those generations? Does that also include the destruction of liberty and what was once the best healthcare system in the world?

Is it right for a person who is Pro-abortion to call someone who is Pro-Life, anti-children? If you support the mass murder of unborn children it would seem that those who desire to allow for the "on demand" death of a totally innocent human is anti-children.

The President says that DADT will end under his watch. But didn't he say that he would listen to the results of the study on the affect on the troops? For once would he please stop his arrogant ways and listen to people who know, not the people with agendas and think they know. Butonce again he seems to put his agenda over everything else.

Well with only a few weeks to go before our elections, there are terrorist attack warnings. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that the government is doing this to have an affect on the election outcomes. They might think that they can have the same results as the attacks as those in Spain.

Also on the terrorist threat; the news is reporting that "the terrorists may already be in the country." Well some people may think that the terrorists could have crossed our southern border. But the President and the Secretary of DHS has said that the border is more secure than it has ever been. If this is true, and the National Government is doing everything to protect the citizens: Then how could such a thing happen? It's not like the government is suing states to protect illegal aliens: Is it?

From the episode of "The View" this week with Bill O'Reilly it is clear that two of the regulars on the show are "truthers." Why else would they become so upset and deny that "radical Muslims" were behind the attacks on 9/11? They already got rid of one "truther" on that program. Would someone ask Rosie "what's her name" how they make steel beams if steel does not melt? Do they harvest steal beams from trees? No they are forged. Is it time to get the rest of these "truthers" off the air?

Have you seen the new commercials about stopping Medicare fraud? You would think that it had only been made illegal. So for years the government did not enforce the law, but know to try and sell their very unpopular healthcare deformation law, they now make it sound as if this is something new.

Also on Medicare. I was just wondering if we should contact Andy Griffith directly for all those free things he is promising in his commercials? Is he going to take personal responsibility for any of those promises if they turn out to be "smoke and mirrors?" I fear that too many will remember him as "Andy Taylor" and may not know that he is a very partisan Democrat. He's just another liberal.
